Excursion overview

Day 1:
We will pick you up with our private AC mini- van from your hotel in Dahab at 5:00am. We will drive for approx. 2 hours to Taba dock to take the ferry boat leaving at 7:30am to Aqaba.
Leaving Taba Heights by boat, you can enjoy the early morning on the deck while crossing the bay of Aqaba. From Aqaba we will drive by bus to Petra where our tour will begin.
We enter Petra on foot, though the Siq, a narrow winding gorge over 1 kilometer in length. We visit the Great Treasury (Al-Khazneh Farun), the Roman Theatre, the Royal Tombs (the Rainbow Tomb is a must for photographers), as well as hundreds of monuments, tricliniums, and obelisks, all carved from the multi-shaded, rose red sandstone. A walk through the colonnade of Roman Byzantine Petra brings us to the city centre.
We continue our tour to the hill of Al-Habis (crowned with a crusader-era fort) for a breathtaking panoramic view of deep gullies and uniquely colored rock formations.
After sightseeing Petra a late lunch buffet will be served at the Movenpick hotel at the entrance to the site.
Free evening and overnight stay in 3 Star hotel in Petra (half board).

Note: A program Petra by night is available every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. The ticket is 12 JD available with our tour guides in Jordan.

Day 2:

After breakfast you will go by bus to the Dead Sea for a day of relaxation at the beachfront of the Dead Sea. You will have free time to shop and explore the Dead Sea's natural beauty products such as salts, mud, lotions and facial masks.(optional)
After lunch you will be transffered back to Aqaba, where the boat will take you to Taba Heights. Upon your arrival to Taba you will be meet and transferred back to Dahab by bus. Return time to Dahab at approx. 11:00pm.

Child Policy :
Child rates apply to ages 6-12. Children aged 4 years and under join any tour free of charge unless the offer includes flight tickets. In this case a child supplement will be advised depending on child age and airfare required by the air carrier.
Tour and Prices:
Tour price is presented in USD, however you can pay either in Euros, British pounds or Egyptian pounds. The price is quoted per person per tour and our prices are always updated to ensure you receive the lowest price possible. Once your tour is confirmed we guarantee the price agreed upon and it will not be changed even in case of any increase related to the excursion.

Useful Information - Tips

Please note, that Egyptian Pounds not accepted in Jordan and you may use the following currencies (GBP, Euro, USD & Jordanian Dinnars).
If you don’t have any Jordanian money you can ask the guide in Aqaba for the ATM or exchange office.
Please bring your own breakfast, snacks, soft drinks, juices and water as lunch on the first day.
Please check the departure time from Petra to Aqaba the 2nd day with the Jordanian Guide.

Bring swimming gear if you want to bath in the Dead Sea,towels,soap,walking shoes, sunglasses and hat.
Bathing in the Dead Sea (November thru February) is subject to the weather conditions.
During winter time (November till April) warm clothing is necessary.
